What lines will you cross for love?

EAST BERLIN, 1982. Leni is a punk rock activist, on the run from the Stasi. Her lover, Maja, is a glam rock idol...just across the wall. They pass messages in music, through a bootlegger known only as Hawk. But when the cops beat Leni within an inch of her life, it's up to Hawk and Maja to get Leni safely across the wall...or die trying.

Told as a neo-brechtian rock concert, Easier to Die (Than Leave Berlin) was developed at Tisch as part of the Graduate Musical Theatre Writing program.
Casting: 2F/1M
